Tallon Ora, also known as Art By Tal, is a multi-talented artist based in the Metro-Detroit area. Alongside being a part-time waitress and a medical coding student, Tal also pours her passion into her artwork, particularly her love for oil painting and animals. She has been inclined towards art since childhood and has always wanted to pursue it further, from taking Art 101 classes to high school portfolio classes. However, it was during the pandemic that Tal began experimenting with oil paints and discovered her love for it.

Tal’s art mainly focuses on pet portraiture, which she finds comforting as it allows her to paint something of great importance to each customer, especially those who want to commemorate their furry friends. Her goal is to expand her horizons and explore other subjects that bring her the same joy. Although currently busy with school, she plans to become more active on social media to showcase her artwork and reach a wider audience.

Tal’s passion for animals extends beyond her artwork. She dreams of one day building a sanctuary for rescued farm animals and other domesticated pets, funded by an art gallery featuring local artists. Her mother has been her number one supporter since the beginning of her artistic journey, providing her with art supplies and encouragement. Tal also expresses gratitude towards her boyfriend for his support and Dylan Curtis for giving her the opportunity to work alongside other amazing artists and creative minds.

Through her artwork, Tal hopes to inspire others to pursue their passions and spread positivity and love for animals.
